AGM - Sunday 8th July at 10am
In terms of Rule 15.(1), notice is hereby given that the Annual General meeting of the Whangamata Club (Inc) will be held at the Clubrooms, 404 Port Road, Whangamata on Sunday 8th July at 10:00am.
In terms of Rule 18.(2) Any Member intending to move a resolution bearing upon the Management of the Club during the past financial year or regarding any other matter must, unless the resolution can be found on the report and balance sheet, give notice of his/her motion by handing same to the Secretary/Manager twenty-one (21) days (being 17th June 2018) before the meeting and such notice of motion shall be forwarded to each member with notice of the meeting.

Taxi Subsidy
As a Member you can get to the Club and home for $5 per trip within the town boundary. To be eligible for the taxi subsidy, just present your current Membership Card. Phone: 027 959 1686 for Mark or Sue.

Restaurant Club 404
The Restaurant is open for dinner 5.30pm and Saturdays only 12pm-2pm for lunch. No bookings necessary.
This week's FRIDAY BUFFET is Roast Lamb with rosemary infused demi glaze or beef stroganoff or crumbed southern blue whiting fish.  Cold salads - Asian noodle salad with creamy mayonnaise and sweet chill sauce, swiss potato with mustard and mayonnaise and farm fresh greens.  Hot vegetables - herbed gourmet potato, sweet potato finger, cauliflower and broccoli mornay and garden peas.

Results from Thursday 24th May a
fter last week, Wayne Broome upped the stakes and came away with top points. He was closely pursued by Angie Dewhurst and the rest of the pack were a little further away.   Some good games amongst a good turnout. Come and join us at the Club every Thursday at   12.50pm.
Results from Thursday 17th May Well done Helen McLeod - she snuck in while the boys weren't watching and blitzed the pack.  Brian Ford was found sulking in second spot while Wayne Broome had to share third spot with Anne Harris and Angie Dewhurst.  Go Girls!!!  We're at the Club every Thursday at 12.50 to get on the draw. Come and join us.

Results from Friday 18th May Winners Peter Gorrie, Jim Bell and Dexter Harpur. Runners Up Alex Steel, Ann Costar and Lynda Callaghan. The Raffle was won by Barbara Mathieson.
Results from Saturday 129th May We held our Clubs Singles Champs today and was a great day for some.  Lindsay Tomlin & Alex Steel, and Peter Gorrie & Ann Coster played each other in the semi finals. Both Alex Steel and Ann Coster won their Semi Final and ended up playing for the Championship.
What a nail biter that was. Alex who is a skip seemed to have it all in the first 5 games and then our Darling Annie who is a 2 player started to catch up. It was a nail biter in the end and Alex held his lead to win 10 to Ann’s 9.

Results from Tuesday 22nd May Winner was Glen with 4 wins and 265 points. Runner Up was Peter with 3 wins and 238 points. Highest Breaks were Scotty with 27 points and Monty with 50 including handicap. 
Raffles were won by Brian S. on 2 and Elaine on 11.
